Medicine Reminder – App & Responsive web

Challenge: Develop a responsive web app that helps users remember to take Medicine on time.

Deliverables: User pain points, persona, user journey map, Sitemap, Wireframes, Prototypes, usability study, Takeaways.

Project overview

According to a health survey, 50% of people forget their Medicine. Taking Medicine is very important, specifically who is with health complications. And also, it is essential to take Medication at the same time.

 

The goal

Design an app that will improve Medication habitually taken without missing a single dose.

 

The product

To Promote a more relaxed life, the medicine reminder app clears the constant stress of taking medications in users’ minds. Reminder to take medicine apps. Primary target users include users who take Medication regularly to stay healthy and active.

 

Responsibilities

Interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.

 

User research summary

I developed the Interview questions based on health organizations and the importance of regularly taking the Medication and then conducted the Interviews. Most Interview participants said that they felt terrible and forgot to take the Medication due to the lifestyle and the work pressure. But they are willing to take the Medication regularly for a better life and more active life.

Audit the few competitors both direct and Indirect.

Ideation

I am done with the Ideation process based on the competitive audit.

Digital wireframes

After Ideating created some Digital wireframes for initial thoughts to remember to take the Medicine app to manage and remember their course of Medication.

Low-fidelity prototype

Created the Low-fidelity prototype to conduct Usability testing. Developed the user flow to add Medication and set it as remainder.

Impact: This design of the remember to take the Medicine will impact huge difference in real-time usage by not missing their Medication.

I learned that I could solve the user problems by going through each step of the design process.

Next steps:

  • Conduct the Usability study for the further improvement of the app
  • Add more additional functionalities for the user’s need
  • Provide the options to refill the Medication when it runs out of it.
